Hey Wolverine you folks may want to connect with your developer of the new site as it is struggling to load this morning, it does eventually load so does not appear to be a network or DNS issue. It's just quite slow and lots of hourglassing when navigating links within the website.
You may find this link of use when talking with your developer or content hosting provider in tracking down the issue. Looks as though your backend server may be under-resourced and potentially some inefficient code running as well.

Not all customer accounts have been ported over. If the email address you have previously used isn't recognized by the website odds are yours didn't make the cut. Data storage and transfer is a bear. You would have to fill out a new customer account. Ensure you fill one out completely before placing an order to avoid processing delays.
For informational purposes: order history for old closed orders won't carry through to the new website. You can no longer reminisce on what those three year old prices were.
