Your Top Find of 2007 - Post it Here

I picked up a really nice M96/11 Swiss rifle this summer for the wonderful price of $225. Next was a K31 Carbine ($265 at Tradeex), followed by a 1943 M38 Mosin ($169 at Tradeex) and a 1903 Turk ($100 from Epps). Its nice to be able to get such interesting guns at such reasonable prices.

I still have to go out and pick it up...we'll see what the weather is in late January.

I would like to see the looks on peoples faces as you towed this thing threw town

I picked up a free Russian 91/30 sniper less a few parts but now together also picked up a sustained fire kit for my CA mg34 from IMA it's really nice they were made for the Portugese(SP) pre WW2 it is dated 1937 .I have from a very good source they were used on the Atlantic wall as well, it is quite a nice display item .I also traded for a Turkish Vickers tripod which I am still cleaning up .I sold more then I bought I may be selling off quite a bit in the future (my MP41 and possibly MP44)I have found some new interests .

Great story, you deserve a pat on the back, well done! Thank you very much for posting, it looks like you top everyone posting on this thread.:D

original condition Enfield P-17. Got it for my 83 year-old dad, an ex-Home Guardsmen. He hadn't fired or seen one in more than 60 years, so he was dee-lighted to get his hands on it. On his first try he shot a 5-inch group at 100 yards. He says he'll do better on his next try!

Thank you very much for those kind words! Everybody in the family was happy to see how much it pleased him! It was easier to get than the M1917
.30 water-cooled Browning machine gun he also used! Said the first shot hit, then the rest stitched up somewhere over south Devon! Just for kicks, here's one more pic!
