If you can get $1400 for that gun then you'd best take the money and run. I'm sure it has lots of life left in it but I'd say it's not worth over $1100 to $1200, just my thoughts.
I thought those 1958 Browning catalogue pages might be interesting to share

I wish you had pics too Frank. I've never seen a John Moses Browning Broadway and I can't even find any pics on the google of one. Was it all gussied up and fancy?
I'm in Mexico right now so I don't have access to my Blue book or any other references.
Sounds intriguing Frank.
I found this ad in the UK. It might be the same gun in the ad that you found only this one has pics.

Great looking gun!
Thanks for sharing your photos.
You are correct, it is a 1955 manufacture date, as the serial number range for that year of production is listed as approximately serial numbers 43001 to 48000.
As to valuation, these older Browning grade 1 standard weight model superposed don't tend to bring the money they use to. People looking for a shooter type gun vs a collector piece all want screw in chokes to use steel shot these days to increase the versatility of the gun.
Based on a subjective view of the condition of your shotgun using only the photos, its value would be approximately between $1,000 to $1,400.
I hope you paid for a gr1 and not a Diana grade.
The only issue with the USA is the selection is huge compared to here here they are a oddity and in the USA they are come place . O ya and the USA shotgun culture compares to the very small amount of people in this country that would even consider buying a high grade superposed . The priceing on ee with some 10,000 views is basically embarrassing certainly shows the seller has very little experience with marketing direarbms .
