Any 1761 owners here, now that it's been out awhile.what are your thoughts on it(minus the plastic trigger guard which is a head scratcher on an otherwise excellent craftsmanship)one thing that has really grabbed my attention is the bolt, it is a work of art as far as I see.in all weather the bolts roller system is smooth sailing. It is the best bolt action I have ever used in rimfire.it is a short sweet up back and forward motion that is effortless. I don't like the sporter wood stock it's to danm nice to truck through the muskeg shooting chickens while the moose sleep.also the 5 round mags need a 10 round affordable option.side by side with the vudoo I don't notice an accuracy difference with the ammo each likes.the vudoo seems to shoot a multitude of ammo consistently better but not sure.the vudoo is more of a pleasure on a bench compared to the 1761 sporter.but the sporter is bushwackers delight.
