But I think I ended up with DPM Woodland…….thoughts?

The tan and brown were not sitting well with me, and I have a thing for MC Tropic, so I replaced those two colours with two different shades of green and ended up with something like a MC Tropic colour scheme while keeping the M81 Woodland shapes/pattern. It’s hard to see in some spots but there are actually 3 shades of green. I much prefer this scheme. Thoughts?

Cheers! Was going for what you see in the jacket but ended up with what I think looks more like Brit DPM. It does the job of breaking up the shape of rifle, so there’s that.

Thank you! No, hand painted. Tried Multicam stencils with spray paint on another rifle, mixed results down to my lack of intelligence so, decided on the old painful stand by….

Colours are spot on for woodland.

Clothing are big scale so the tan base might be more exposed.
But given the smallness of the rifle it looks good, very well done.

Actually the pattern looks more like 'brown ERDL' - aka "winter leaf pattern" used in Vietnam - it was the predecessor of woodland. It's still in use in Thailand with some units. Very nice work, that isn't easy.

Hand painted with a brush? What was your process if not a stencil? Looks great!

Ahh yes, forgot about ERDL. I agree.
