Just get a new production winchester model 70. The model 70 has so much soul, pedigree, and history you can litterly feel it from 5 feet away. Ok maybe thats an exaggeration but there just superb.

I personally think a Winchester Model 70 should be on that list. There are some fine Models 70's out there. If I was to get a new one I'd go for a beautiful maple stock.

Here’s an option. Old traded special. I did the stock work. Dave Jennings did the bluing and Lyman sight install. Kind of a stalker like rifle. Sleek and very pointable.
