Any idea what pressure they run at? Challenger says low pressure what ever that is.

I read that they were 7500 psi
I shot 2 flats this year and they work fine, great really, and do what they are supposed to
Not surprised by Brybenn’s field testing reports, and I agree they are snappy
Made the muzzle a little dirty .....
I was shooting in a lighter 25” barrelled gun and the recoil wasn’t noticeable
Actually I shot a few rounds of the sporting clays course and was surprised just how effective the lighter shell and shorter gun could be
None of it felt like it should work but it did

I would like to try some on ruffed grouse. To be wishful some in #7 shot would be cool. Thanks to those who posted the pressure rating.

To you and ParksPipes. Would you say they have more snap than the Gamebore low pressure stuff? I notice a big difference between the Gamebore and RST which I also have a fair bit of. RST is much softer shooting.
Compared to the rst i have which are the light blue #6 1oz lite the challengers are much more snappy. I have not shot them side by side with the gamebore felt wads yet but when i pattern my guns soon i will shoot them together in the same guns. I printed off 200 turkey targets so hopefully i can make some time this weekend
I thought about buying those next but the lites pattern well. Ive used them in my charles daly hammer gun. Nick mackinson said it would handle those loads. His word i trusted. Hope to drop a turkey this spring with it. But i might use blackpowder loads
I’ve only shot a handful of RST at clays. A standard load of theirs I think.
And as for the Gamebore, PureGolds are my hunting loads.
Not having done any direct comparison from memory I’d say generally similar to all, with the Challengers being equal to or a little greater than the RST and a little less than the PureGolds, snap-wise.
I bet the RST Falcon Lites or UltraLites would be lighter.
Really I think you’re totally safe shooting these in most 2 1/2” guns and should probably give some a try.

My gamebore is of the regal style. These minus the challengers are what im going to pattern test for turkey season in my short chambered guns. As well as reloads.
My 16ga takes longer shells as well but federal blue box doesnt hold that tight of pattern. The challengers with 7.5 shot seem to react to choke well giving tight patterns in full chokes and nice even patterns in more open chokes
