Sellier & Bellot .22 LR Canadian Match Standard Velocity Target 40gr LRN

My experience with my 457 Varmint MTR and 455 stainless were basically the same as Beeron's. Decent groups but usually a flyer that would ruin it.

They're good for hunting accuracy. But they're not "match" ammo. I'd probably rank them above Winchester wildcat, federal blue box bulk, federal red box bulk, Aguila super extra lead and copper, and depending on which gun it's probably on par with CCI Standard Velocity.

This has been my experience with it as well. Definitely won't be going out of my way to mail order it in.

I think this is just their new-ish S&B Club ammo repackaged in a new box with the words "Canadian Match" for the Canadian market.

I tried 3 boxes of this stuff through 5 different 22's - a Ruger LTR, a Tikka T1X, a CZ457, a Browning T-Bolt, Remington 541 - the groups varied but in all cases were almost double that of RWS Target.
Close but not as good as CCI Standard - I only tried at 50 meters and it was quite windy but I did not get any groups smaller than about 1 inch

I tried a brick of this ammo in a few rifles. Results were mixed. 1 out of 4 groups from a 10/22 with a Green Mountain barrel might be great (1/2" @ 50 yards), but the others opened up to 3/4" to 1". CCI standard velocity would be consistent 1/2" to 3/4" and I don't consider it match ammo. So meh... I'll stick with CCI or better.

Stay away from any SB ammos, any calibres. No matter how they brand it or rebrand it, they all suck, peroid.

1,140 average FPS out of a 16” CZ 457
SD averages between 7-10
Best Two 5 Shot groups were inside of a 1.5” target sticker @100m each using a barrel tuner (tuna can setting 14)
Shot 3 different lots And only one was faster by 10fps (lot number 130-21)
Grabbed more today of a different lot. Will report my findings.
Didn’t take any shots at 50m. Rookie move

I fired 50 rounds each through my CZ 457 Varmint MTR and my Anschutz 1710 rifles. The groups at 50 & 100 yards equaled the SK+ Standard ammo that I have been using. Equal performance at 40% of the cost.

I shot a brick of it in my Rim X with Euchus chamber. I only chronographed 10rds while I was sighting in. Was averaging 1165fps. No extraction issues, no FTF. It is not lot tested match ammo. It is beggars can't be choosers ammo.
