BCL Bison picture thread

Appealing? Uses AR accessories, uses both magazines so a person has another choice in case the Liberals go after AR magazines, I can swap barrels to shoot 300 Blackout, it's all metal with no Tupperware, it's compact and a handy for packing and quad use, Support is in Canada, and it's just different. Was going to put a new metal stock on my bolt action, but buying this rifle was cheaper and I got to reuse my AR parts. :)

I was talking about the mags specifically. I guess if you run and gun 20 rounds is good but otherwise I'm fine with 5 and ten rounders. No doubt it's good to have options.

I was ok with my 5 & 10 rnd AR mags too but the BCL mags fit much better (no rattle) and like randyhub mentioned, " in case the Liberals go after AR magazines"

Got mine at Calgary Shooting Centre today, very nice effort by BCL! This platform is really maturing and becoming my fav.

I’ve been considering on buying this rifle lately and now that 300blkout is available looks like it would be a great addition also looks like it would make for a good scout rifle. Could you put a folding butt stock on it and still be 26” or over to keep it non restricted?

Only if you got the 16" barrel model. Mine had to be sent back to BCL for ejection issues, but I'm not concerned as I don't get out shooting often these days.

Not with a 12.5" barrel I checked comes up a few inches short, don't know if you could rig up some kind of a quick detachable buffer tube assembly from a legal aspect?

If you figure that out let me know. I've been thinking about that for some time.

BCL wanted to inspect my rifle as they don't want issues with production of their 300blk. They want to make sure they can resolve the issue for further production assuming it wasn't some sort of fluke.

Well I am VERY impressed with BCL they offered to repair my rifle I told them I could just slide out the old extractor as I have done it before on my Savages, they said whatever I would prefer.

The new 20 round magazines are just awesome. This platform is so much fun and my fav now.

The 12.5” barrel just looks sharp to me and now that the 20 round mags have come to market this rifle has moved up on the list of next to buy. Looks like a handy little rifle to take to my buddy’s farm and backcountry (where you can) doesn’t hurt I can move my WK mags and accessories to it. Seems like everyone in the thread is happy with theirs and they all look great!
