FAB GL-Core butt stock and FAB grip finally showed up. Feels way better now. Loading up some 53gr v-max and 60gr nosler ballistic tips, will test them later this week.

The buttstock and pistol grip upgrades really make the handling much nicer, your rifle looks great.

I ended up changing my scope mounts to QD as I have BUIS on the rifle. Will bug my kid for the monopod info, he spent a bit if time making more beefy. Got a cool Bison patch and mug from Black Creek Labs as well.

Thanks, i have had GL-Cores on a few different AR/semi-autos. like the ergonomics for my self and have huge hands so upgraded grips are always the first thing on all rifles and handguns. The scope currently has Warne QD mounts. Going to switch this rig to a 4-12 Nikon p-tactical scope and mount as it will probably be a range queen.

Cool velcro patch from BCL.

My new scope mount.

Adjustable riser helps with the scope, adjustable buttplate helps dial the stock in for my use, the mini monopod locks everything in place when playing with paper using the bipod legs.

Here is mine as it presently sits. It's wearing a Nightforce NXS 3.5x15 for accuracy and load development for now.
It'll probably wear a light weight LPVO when I'm done my evaluation.

Beltfed....looking forward to some accuracy reports. Not many reviews on the 16"bbl Bison.
Like the additions/changes too!

I wonder when BCL's 20/20 mags for the Bison are available.......

Mine does not like heavy ammo. I only have a 50m range, but our 55 grain FMJ reloads will do a single hole. I have another thread showing the targets.

I posted this in Wolverine's section of the forum for the Bison, but it makes sense to cross-post it here too.
This was from my first outing, and first 10 round group from an improvised rest from the bench at 100 yds.
These were the first 20 rounds through the gun by me, and I suspect that what I bought was actually a demo gun (more on that in an upcoming review).
The ammo was hand-loads made in 2007 that shoots Sub-MOA in a number of AR barrels I have and shot Service Rifle with.
(77gr. SMKs on 24.5gr. Varget, CCI BR4 primers and new Winchester cases trimmed to 1.750" with an OAL of 2.255")

These things come with a 1.5 moa guarantee apparently, but I'm not going to be happy with that.

Looks good Randy! I prefer my Colt 20rnd mags too.....
I just received an email from BCL that their 20/20 mags are just about ready for the market. ETA end of November.
