PAL Wait Time

It won't show online I think at least until 28 days after they received it . As per another poster , none of my references were called. My whole process from the time they received it was les than 100 days. Got my PAL/RPAL a few weeks ago.

My references were never called. So it would depend on a case by case basis. That’s the thing with the timeline of these applications, it can vary greatly.
 
It's been ten weeks since I mailed my app and still not showing online. Decided to call and see if they could tell me an average wait time. The gentleman told me that there is not an average wait time. It's case by case basis. However he's not concerned that it's still not showing. I'm not in a big rush just want it before fall hunting season. Does anyone have a similar date and have it showing online?
 
Just an update for everyone. I renewed mine as early as possible as it expires in July so I started in Feb. I did get an email about missing some info (range membership) and had to get my range to send it out to me again as I couldn't find the original. Once sent back it wasn't long. As of today (Likely last week) I am reading it is in the mail and on the way. So I figure get it in early May.

so just around 3 months wait time.

Just to give everyone here an update. It is my first time to apply for a RPAL

February 3- Received application
April 13- Credit card was charged
April 13- Initial review completed
 
It's been a year and 2 months and STILL NO PAL/RPAL......

Ontario CFO office needs to get its #### together, this is absolutely embarrassing.

I'm debating writing my MPP with a complaint, but it's a liberal so I doubt they'd even give a crap.

I'm in Ontario, my wife waited 15 months. Our MPP is Liberal. I contacted his office, she was approved the next day. If i hadn't contacted the MPP, I'm sure she would still be waiting.
 
i think i got lucky for wait times, also posted in the shorten PAL approval thread the same information, i hope this information will help give hope for others still waiting for your wait to be shorter.

Contributing for information

course taken Nov 2021 for PAL/RPAL,
Papers/application sent in and arrived in January 2022, Charged in March 2022
waited a long time and called several times (once a month starting from Feb 2022) for updates and to see if anything was missing, no issues and continued to wait.
got approved late April, license arrived just now (May 2022) Ontario.
 
For anyone looking for an approximate wait time:

I sent my application on 14th of January
My application was received on 19th of January (you don't get to learn when your application is received until your credit card is charged)
Credit card was charged March 25th (I was granted the option to check my application status)
29th of April license was issued

No one from RCMP called me or any of my references.

I am still waiting for my license to arrive.
I was told that it might take 3 weeks....
