Well that's not good to hear. I've been already waiting on Wolverine for 4 months for one.
That's not good at all
Is it possible to get an Anshutz extractor to fit the CZ ?
Check and make sure it actually is chipped. That extractor has a sharp edge to it, it looks like half of the edge is missing on a 45 degree angle. Look at photos online of that part on boltfaces and enlarge the area. Then again maybe not, worth a peek
they do look very similar though
Similar isn't close enough. Extractors often tend to look alike, even from other makes of firearms.
Below are four Anschutz "extractors". Actually Anschutz uses an "extractor" and a "retainer" on those models with two "extractors" (some had only one). They would be used on Anschutz models other than the 1761. Each one is different. The newest model, the 1761, appears to use completely different relevant parts than previous models.

If it’s chipped, can it be welded up and shaped with a file?
Have you tried Western Gun Parts? I got an extractor from them a few years ago for a Brno #2. Should be the same I think. Note the L/H extractor has a sharp hook, the holder on the right is more rounded so they don't interchange.
I replaced one on my CZ455 last year. I removed the original, cleaned the slot so it could move freely, examined with a loupe. Apart from the colour, I could NOT tell the difference between the new one and the old one. The new one worked, though. I think the little claw might have been slightly sharper. Who knows? I got mine through Wolverine when they were in stock.
I am desperate enough to try anything though, both company made 22 training rifle for germany in wwii so there is possibility that cz457/455/452 and anschuetz54/64 branched from same lineage
I have a MIG welder so I know what you mean about something turning into a blob. I’ve welded 28ga sheet metal with mine but it does take a very light touch - and a lot of practice. Ok, maybe some joints were a little cold. Lol!I tried it and the end turned into a blob, I guess that hook is too small to take the heat, I'll try make one with some 1/8 scrap i have and see how it goes
ya, it is chipped, cant hold a case tight and constant faliure to eject
