anyone has a spare cz452/455/457 extractor?

I tried it and the end turned into a blob, I guess that hook is too small to take the heat, I'll try make one with some 1/8 scrap i have and see how it goes

Grind it off and try again with either TIG or Oxy-Acetylene. You need to use something harder than mild steel. If you make a new one, mild steel is OK, but the hook should be tougher.

ill try qunch the hook, not sure it will achieve much on mild steel, anyways hope it will survive long enough for spare parts to come

what I find during my shaping process is if you file down the inner flat section it will grab the brass tighter

There is a used 455 complete bolt on EE. Buy it as a spare for parts

A-2 Air harden tig rod would do the trick, but that stuff costs $50 or more for a minimum quantity.

4 months? Seems like a short amount of time. I've been waiting for an extractor for my Cz 527 for over a year and a half. I've emailed several times with the answer we are still waiting for it. I won't be buying a single CZ product going forward if a simple thing like an extractor takes this long, and I'm still waiting. The parts availability for CZ rifles is non existent. If anyone wants a brand that can be repaired this isn't it.

Here's an interesting experiment. Everyone should list how long they've been waiting on CZ parts. I'm a year and 6 months. I'm at the point where I'm thinking I should just sell off the CZ rifles and put that money into a more reliable brand.
