Some one just sold a S&W 4506 with 4 mags and a bunch of extras for $1050. That's a crazy price. I missed it by a few minutes. There was another one listed for $1650 earlier today. I think that one is still sitting there.

For some people owning something that drops to zero value is more an issue than having a handgun to use. For me there is always more money to be earned but if this passes no more handguns unless Conservatives take a majority
 
I find it hilarious that the prices have gone up. Wouldn’t you have to sell it for less if you want to get rid of it. Even 12/6 prices ar3 through 5he roof. It’s like opposite world now
 
On #######..no difference..same amount as before.. handgun and rifle. Price remain too high..in EE and elsewhere..often asking new price for used gun.
 
I have seen a lot of really old ads get bumped today with prices dropped. Some people want out bad but as Ravage has said, there will always be more money to be earned, there may not always be more handguns to be bought.
 
People are selling because the market is hot. Most people don't want a paper weight that cost a few hundred dollars that they can't even use as a paperweight. I'm hanging onto mine, but I don't think you can fault people for selling

I don't fault people for anything. Its their choice. We need to exercise our freedom to make choices while we still can.
We will see the same thing happening with gasoline vehicles when the turd decides to ban those too, you know, for 'safety'
 
No, we’re losing because the majority of Canadians don’t care or possess mildly negative views about firearms ownership, particularly of handguns and “assault rifles”, while a vocal minority are extremely anti-gun. The current government has more to gain than lose politically by appeasing the anti-gun crowd, thus we are here.

As to selling, people are weighing out the probability of handguns becoming permanent safe queens. Why have money tied up in something that you may no longer be permitted to use? Even if permitted, how many hoops will need to be jumped through? At a certain point it’s a hassle and no longer enjoyable. Might as well spend the money on other things that bring joy.

Very happy I sold off most of my handgun collection over the past few years to put into other interests.

Good point. At some point in the future, I can see an extreme left government like Trudeau's banning the sale and transfer of internal combustion vehicles. "We're not taking them away from you, why are you complaining?"

They can do whatever the #### they want. Maybe we're losing as they're getting tired of being ####ed and people like you and the rest going after them. Why we are divided.

I thought of selling some after 20 years, the amount of stress last few days, almost made me rebound.
