Civilian level combat training Alberta

There’s a guy just outside of Leduc, that has tactical shooting classes. He’s Ex CDN forces sniper I beleive, has a record with them. I can’t remember the name but I’m sure if you did a bit of googling you might find it.

Interested in Ontario aswell. CAF will pay you to train FYI. If I didn't have responsibilities that's what I'd be doing.

There are a group of fellows, and I think this guy is one of them, (I was just talking to one of the group last weekend and he mentioned this fellow) that are connected to the Rob Furlong long range group. A call to them will connect you to what you want.

Head over to Ukraine, if you last 6 months, come home & you'll be good to go here for anything that happens. Good luck.

Well, maybe if the OP had been a little more precise on what he wants to learn/accomplish, maybe there would be a little less sarcasm.

Does he want to
* Learn to kick down doors and clear building?
* Deal with ambush?
* Escape and evasion?
* Learn pepper-potting?
* FOO training?

* His he (or she) even remotely proficient in first aid and marksmanship?
* His he (or she) in top physical condition? (Biggest hindrance and individual shortcoming as far as I'm concerned)

- Civilian level combat training... is pretty darn vague (and kind of amusing)

I agree that the op could have been a bit more specific as to what he is looking for but there is always someone with a smart ass comment that does nothing to help him/her out. No wonder these threads go off the rails more than not.

Go to America
Less restrictive firearm’s laws and a lot of people to teach various skill’s at
a high level, if you are prepared to stay for four/six weeks

Contact RDSC- they have exactly what you’re looking for.

Frontline Canadian defense also offers courses
Phase line green is in AB sometimes
Rob furlong does pistol and carbine courses but idk how they are as I’ve never been

If anyone in AB is looking for tactical training hit me up and I can point you in the right direction

Not sure where in Alberta you are but Agoge Tactical had range near Harris Saskatchewan if they are still in operation and his instructors would also travel to do classes. I’ve never taken any of their classes myself but know people who have and I’ve heard good things if the tactical path is what you want. I’m told the the former sask Cfo didn’t like them teaching military tactics to civilians if adds any street cred.

ATR no longer operates out of the sask range, but does have instructors who travel, or are local to AB
