Your favorite ridiculous handgun price!

It’s not that I don’t like your price. In fact, per the thread title, yours is my favourite ridiculous handgun price.

P226 is a good gun, no doubt, but not for me. DA/SA isn’t my preference. Appreciate the advice though.
 
Seen a retailer with a Star model B for $900! I grabbed mine for $250 when it was imported in pretty much new surplus condition

So you can voice your opinion but if someone else voices theirs thats not ok? Pretty sure when the gas price goes up 12 cents a litre the companies dont explain why, you just fill up when the tank gets low or the light goes on. Or walk AMIGO?
 
Not really a ridiculous price but I did see a pistol at SFRC go up $70 in price over night. Went from 9 in stock to 4 but the price jumped. Even dealers are gouging price.
 
There is a guy on ####### in Fredericton NB that wants $6K for a G19 and $10K for a Sig 226 LDC II.

I thought he had an extra 0 in there. Nope. Contacted him and he said that he is not trying to be a richard, but simply looking for a millionaire that will pay his price.

I explained that taking advantage of someone is being a richard.

I sold 100s of firearms over the years. But last week, I had nothing but issues selling my wrangler else wheres. The idiots that came out of the wood works was unreal. Ended up having to pull the ad.

Had one guy thinking you could start a transfer without paying or even a name.. After telling me how to do a transfer and it's not his first. Had another that wanted to meet half way. Tones of newbs that couldnt put in effort writing more than couple words.

Some were offended, I didnt take their trades.
 
It isn't as flashy as some of the posts in here, but I was browsing a dealers new arrivals page and noticed a M&P 9 2.0 range kit listed for literally double the price I paid for mine 2ish years ago.

I know inflation and market demand are a thing, I was just taken aback by seeing that price tag.
 
Many do not realize that after that C-21 freeze, those guns will have no value to anybody. No more sale because you need funds, no more sale if darling cheat on you and accuse you of wrong doing. No sale or transfer for any reason. No way to sell to recover funds to pay for unexpected expenses and all various reasons given in EE to justify a sale.

Those funds are just gone with no recovering them, unless that stupid would be law, be overturned by another gov.

Another point, is that you are married to a shooting club for your lifetime. Paying due every year for as long that you keep your gun or relinquish them for destruction. Right now you can go out of the sport by selling everything and recover some, but this will end with that C-21 crap.
