Anyone see Glock 44 out there for sale?

Have to ask, why all the love for the G44?

I have yet to handle, let alone shoot one, but I have a hard time understanding why a G44 over a Buckmark or Mk IV. What am I missing?

Nothing. This is the last chance to own one, I already own the 2 you have listed and it is much cheaper doing volume shooting with a .22lr. I like Glocks, and even paying full price these are reasonable.

Missing nothing, tried one at the range a couple weeks ago it went bang each time the trigger was pulled, wouldn’t trade my mkii for one.
Very difficult to be consistently accurate because of heavy trigger pull(25yd bullseye).

Light gun with a heavy trigger is a bad combo for accuracy. I put a timney trigger in and have a 3lbs pull measured. A light gun with a light trigger is a fun time for new shooters especially women. Double taps at 10 yards are almost touching. And all that fun for 13 cents a round. Plus it looks and handles like a big boy glock.

What a great group of people at Williams arms
I was lucky enough to to get one at a normal price
They might be worth a try
Thanks all for keeping this thread alive

I’ve wanted a Glock 44 since they were first announced but always figured I’d wait and buy a used one from the EE that had already been broken in and came with some extra mags or whatever for a lower price. Captain rainbow socks took that opportunity to wait away from me. I don’t see it as panic, I see it as capitalizing on a once in a lifetime opportunity. My collection was sound given all the signs over the last few years, I was ready to accept that what I had was all I’d ever have if the law changed on a dime, but this time we were given a reasonable amount of warning to reevaluate if we wanted to pad the collection some more.
