RCMP Firearms Website and Transfers

I'm guessing they may be slightly behind the few outstanding June 2 purchases some people still have. Can't see what difference a few days in getting the transfers started will make now...

Call your CFO for your province to politely inquire on the status of your transfer.

This has worked for several people I know who did this.

It works in BC, I can only assume it would work for Alberta as well.

One has to keep calling at different times to get through though. It might be worth a try!.......:)

Im not positive but I suspect it was not intentional on their part it seems to me anyway to be similar to the Xbox website when it was hit by DDoS attacks, just the way it went down how long it was down how they reported it was down and seeing how the anti gun people get worked up in their protests Id say thats right up their alley

In the string for BC transfers a gentleman got his June 6th request put through he was allegedly told they are still working through early June and will be for some time, in again another string theres a photo from the RCMP showing the spikes in transfer requests that came after the announcement of C-21 they sold almost two years worth in a very short period so because of that they are going to be working to clear those up for some time

Seems like the individual web services website is also down. I got an email from rcmp saying there's a message in my account and login to view but as soon as I login the website says application error has occurred

Yes, we worked until late last night and did several hundred. We have two staff doing only transfers today and we will work late again until they are done. We should be caught up from the 4 days were it was down by midnight or so tonight.
