Looks like it's available in .300BLK, 5.56 and 7,62X39.

Glad to see another Canadian made black rifle enter the market. The more competition and offerings the better.

What you buy a BCL semi-auto?

If it is a longer version of the Skunkbear, the non-reciprocating charging handle and Triggertech out of the box will be nice. They've had time to refine the design and note what has not worked on other recent firearms, plus reports are they've been responsive, quick, and helpful when fixing issues with their tactical look bolt action, the bison. One can hope...

@ me when a Canadian company figures out you don't need 1lb of aluminum hanging off the back of the receiver when you have 2 takedown pins instead of 1

If it's reliable, it'll sell. Should be the lightest Canadian AR-180 out there. Much as I like that lil PDW stock, you'd probably want something you can get a better cheek weld on given that it'll have an 18.5" barrel but that's easily enough done.

Why do bcl put these semis under "military products"? They really shouldn't do that sort of crap. ATRS lost some credibility when they listed some of their NR stuff as derivatives of AR15 or something, which is a pinko dog whistle, on their webpage.

Because they are a firearms manufacturer with defense and LEO contracts.

BCL…

The group that caved in and quit production of a rifle that wasn’t named and still (correct me if I’m wrong) not on the ban list. Haven’t seen BCL’s name lately in the various Court document against the OIC.

I know they have changed and that by version 7 the BCL102 was kind of appealing but… NEA/BCL didn’t do much aside putting out #### products for years before changing hands and they still caved in unlike guys with real values like ATRS (I do not own any ATRS products nor am I related to them)

And then we fall in the QC of their products, the mystery around specs and parts fitment.

I’d buy Norinco before I ever consider NEA’s products, out of their non particiption in the OIC’s fight and pulling a NR model that wasn’t named like a docile little puppy. NEA was given a lot of chances by our community over the years. They had their chance.

Here are the real colors of quitters, first to jump ship.

Yes, you're not wrong, buuuutttt.....

Real easy for armchair commandos to whine and gripe when they didn't put in thousands of $$$ in research, materials and labor into a product only to have it banned by a #### government. How many firearms have you manufactured and had banned, exactly?

If you're talking about the coyote, it wasn't their decision. They were using an MDI manufactured lower and they are the ones who shut down production.

BCL responded to the OIC by stating they were no longer going to produce semi-autos specific to the Canadian civilian market, and were instead going to focus on law enforcement and Military contracts and other markets abroad. Can't really blame them. The srv2 was not designed for the Canadian civilian market but it does seem like it has managed to thread the needle regardless.

well considering how many ar15 gun owners challenged the s74 you should refrain to attack one gun builder otherwise you have to go after all the 65000 owner sones that did not challenge it, assuming you did challenge yourself ...
