You'll need to be patient. I put in an order on May 30, transfer went in on June 1, approved July 28, and Tenda still hasn't even generated a label for the shipment.

So, yeah, you'll need to be patient.

Ontario
Order placed June 6th.
Transfer initiated June 23rd.
Ref # 5915###

Your transfer was initiated well before June 23rd.

End of day June 10th was 5929###

I would guess your transfer was done almost right away after your purchase.

Also for those curious I’m also still waiting obviously.

they need to up their staff to handle the influx, the feds seem to be good at the banning and freezing but not allocating resources to actually deal with the workload. if they operated a business like this they would be tits up in a year

They don’t even need more staff. They could automate the whole process and get thousands of transfers completed in less than a minute. They wouldn’t have to compromise on anything, a simple algorithm would check for every single thing they’re currently checking for.

This is what makes this so frustrating, they know they can make this easy for us but they’d rather inflict as much pressure on us as possible.

Oh that makes sense. Was just notified on that date. Thanks!

I ordered august 20th, got transfer notification on august 22 6007###. Ontario to Manitoba, realistically I’ll forget I brought a gun and be surprised to see one at this point.

I would say they are working perfectly in tune with socialist dictatorship that Canada has become over the last 7 years

First time restricted buyer here. I have a transfer initiated by a store, and I have received a number from them. I do not see anything in the rcmp portal for submitted requests. Should I? I know it'll be months before approval.

It will depend on your place in the que Im still waiting (in BC) for one from june Reg # 5955### another 6014### is probably a year or more away judging by how fast they are working through the massive influx of new applications. you will not see anything on the portal anytime soon, you will get a email at some point to the email you have on record with the RCMP it will tell you that you have new mail in your rcmp account that will be your transfer. Im not an expert but Ive checked almost daily for a few months and nothing has happened while non restricted transfers have gone through within hours

^^THIS.
A program could be written to do this in no time at all, if something doesn't match up or is incomplete it gets spit out and manually checked.
