Cheers. I'm to understand some .40 caliber pistol mags will hold 12 or 13 rounds of 9mm, so I suppose I'm asking for Mike in Canmore, which NR PCC would accept these magazines?
What is the best Pistol Caliber Carbine? ....
(b) that is capable of containing more than 10 cartridges of the type for which the magazine was originally designed and that is designed or manufactured for use in a semi-automatic handgun that is commonly available in Canada.
I'm not sure it qualifies as a PCC, but if you want tacticool on a budget, you should look hard at the 9" GSG-16 in 22LR. From five feet away, to most people it looks pretty much as cool as you can get in this country. Supposedly very reliable, great mag capacity (22+1), and plenty loud with hot ammo out of that short barrel.
No, the law explicitly mentions that loading wrong calibre magazines with more than 10 is okay, like loading a .40 s&w with 9mm.
The caveat is that 9mm doesn't work that great in .40S&w even though you can stick 2-3 more rounds in because the feed lips are so wide it creates feeding problems.
Otherwise all magazines would be illegal because I could fit 11 .22lr cartridges into a 9mm magazine and thus make it contain more than 10 rounds.
Possibly the French spelling? Or maybe the LBTGQ etc., etc. spelling. Sounds like the way they (them, he, she, it, etc.) would pronounth it.Not even how to spell newb?

It really depends on what you want to use it for (plinking, 3-Gun, hunting, or just taking up space in the safe). And after that, it depends on many of your personal preferences. In Canada, our NR options are limited and I'll go out on limb and say that they all do pretty much the same thing.
That said, most people would probably agree that the Ruger PCC is generally the most reliable, out of the box. But even some of these can have problems (fewer than other options though), and many people think the handling on them is terrible. If you're not a tinkerer able to address common PCC reliability issues yourself, and if you don't mind how the Ruger handles, then it's probably at the top of the recommended list.

You'll be happy with an fx9. You can stuff a lot of .22 into a pinned Glock drum too.
How long did it take you to think that one up? Guess I hit a little too close to home, eh?Get back in your hole, the adults are speaking.

It's not you, you're obviously trying to be helpful but the OP seems to have a bad case of "stick up butt' syndrome. Some people just lack a sense of humour.Sort of seems that way, though I'm trying to be helpful and polite about it, in case this isn't just trolling.
...I'm really focusing on something in either 9mm or 45acp.
Good choices. What do you intend to use it for? Plinking, action shooting sports, hunting, playing dressup, etc.?
