Update On Ontario Restricted Transfer Times

I just assume I'll get #### tier service when I order from FOC. After all the same heritage rough rider was 100 bucks cheaper than at SFRC so it makes up for things.

Yup. All my interactions with them have either been neutral or negative. Even the one time I went there in person, the guy couldn’t believe that I wanted a box of 10mm because it’s “so impractical and not legal for IPSC”. Like I asked for it, I have money to give you, and you just ignore me because you think it’s a useless calibre?

I hope they are reading this thread. They are 15 minutes from my house and I loved that store until somewhere down the line they became arrogant and also raised prices more than other stores. Hopefully they take some constructive criticism and change.

I know someone is going to be angry and post that this is off track relating to original thread but it needed to be said as many of us are concerned.

100% agree, last time I was physically in store I got lied to my face when I asked if a specific employee was there and treated like a criminal from a mid aged black dude (cant remember his name).
From then on I felt they didn't need my business

I bought a girsan mc9 from marstar yesterday morning midafternoon they updated my order with the reference number

Marstar did the same for me and also initiated it same day. That's customer service and that's why even though I have local gun shops I will now be buying from Marstar whenever they have what I'm looking for.

Honestly you won't go wrong here. I have personally driven up to VanKleek Hill to Marstar to do business with them. Absolutely amazing company. I have an MG34 that was not functioning properly, nobody in Canada cpuod help me. I took it there and within 5 minutes their tech Louis had it in his hands and diagnosed the problem, they then proceeded to source a freshly machined piece to repair the firearm. The Thing purrs like a kitten now. Marstar is top drawer.

I ordered one from Easthill late last Sunday night and had the approved transfer from the CFO at exactly 9am Tuesday morning. Less than 36 hour turn around time. Props to Easthill and the rockstar NS CFO.

The guys at Easthill are top notch. Shout out to Kevin for always being fair and honest.

That's how it should be. I recently bought from Epps and woke up to the Ref# on my email. That's why I am a loyal customer of theirs

Epps took about two weeks to get me my reference number, but that was at the beginning of the panic buying so I’m going to give them a pass. I’m sure their processes have gotten a lot better since then.

SFRC Ordered after hours Oct 7. Ref. No. first thing in morning Oct. 8. As close to "real time" as you can expect. Thank you SFRC!

what is the current wait time for ontario?

If they maintain the pace they have had since September 10th a purchase made today would be about 190 days or so. That means they keep the same employees and work a bunch of weekends.

That is faster than if I include the data from the beginning of July.

There is rumblings of some new hires to deal with the massive influx.
