IN-STOCK: All-New TYPE 81 SR

Hmmm... was there supposed to be a battery with these? If so, did it come with the rifle (which I don't have yet) or the scope?

An average is ultimately an average. I prefer 5 shot groups as well, but then again if ur shooting consecutive sub 2moa 3 shot groups you cant deny that at least speaks volumes for some level of practical accuracy. And arguably for hunting cold bore POI is all that matters.

My pencil barreled Benelli MR1 taught me the value in this.

Just got my rifle today, haven't shot it but checked it over and I'm impressed, the bluing and wood are both excellent, I think think this is the finest norinco made rifle I've ever handled, and I thought my factory new chinese sks was nice!

Everything is perfectly straight and true, EXCEPT I noticed the gas block is off by maybe 2 mm in indexing, hardly noticeable and doesn't affect function. The scope appears to line up very well with the rifle.

For those who were wondering, it is possible to see the iron sights with the scope mounted, but to use them you would have to remove the cheek piece. Even though the scope mount is designed to retain zero, it is also possible to field strip the rifle without removing the scope, which is nice

I think it is a common issue that the gas block is off. My top handguard is off too.

do 5 shots next time.

When you watch some videos on youtube comparing 7.62x39, you will see that Barnaul is the most consistent, only showing a very small deviation in ft/sec when using a chronometer. This is important for. Besides the shooter being another variable, we don't have Barnaul available anymore.
