Savage also released a pile of guns in 7-prick. Just waiting for someone I'll actually buy a rifle from to release one![]()
Stuff them full of powder until the brass decaps itself on firing, then back off a half grain. Should be good-to-go!
Time for a dose of reality in this thread. The 7 PRC in nothing more the the 280 Rem reimagined. Both cases hold 68 grs of ball powder to the bottom of the case neck, both need a long action. The 7 Rem Mag hold 86 grs of the same powder to the bottom of the neck. Given the same operating pressure, the Rem Mag will 200 fps + faster with any given bullet weight.
Not that it will make any difference, this rifle like all the builds before it will be used to poke a few holes in a piece of paper before being sold off without so much as a CWD ditch donkey to its credit.
I have a few 7 Rem mags. Not spending money on a rebarrel so that I can shoot expensive designer brass slower.

Do you really need a “few” 7MM Rem Mags? .
You should be someone’s wife.
You sure do like telling everyone else what they don’t need.

Can you point that out?
Do you really need a “few” 7MM Rem Mags? The irony here is pretty funny.
I've got 3 300WM's, one of them might end up a 7mm PRC with a 26" barrel![]()
