let me be direct again, your dream is a piece of crap that this world doesn't value at all.
you can live your dream whatsoever as long as you don't ask others' help.
keep playing with your air gun, no one will ever lend you a real pistol.

If it's legal and doesn't blow up my gun I'd let him use it in my G17 Gen 5 with supervision, sucks I'm in Onterrible though.

The road to success is paved with failure so if it doesn't work out for him you either make improvement or move on and learn.

Now listen here, buds.

This guy has DREAMS!

He's not going to let little things like "reality" get in his way!

He's not woke and that's woke talk! :onCrack:

The reality is that... nobody knows the "reality". There are a lot of questions about it, which need to be answered in order to build a better picture. Like:
Does it work 100% of the time?
How well it responds to foiling from extensive shooting.
How many rounds can it sustain before it fails?
How comfortable is it to shoot with a magnet embedded in the hand's webbing?
How susceptible is it to dirt, water etc.
How comfortable is it to shoot it with gloves?
How the trigger bar will respond to prolonged shooting? Is it going to fail/break?
Once all this is answered, then you can build a better picture about it, then you will have reality. Now I see it as questions to be answered.

But what if it does? At this time, not like you can get a replacement gun. With the import freeze and the transfer freeze in place. Will be hard press to have someone lend them their gun. So that throws in a wrench.

The big issue I have. His failure to contact those who he making it out for, to get their feedback.

Thank you for your vote of confidence, I do not need supervision, you will work with your gun. It cannot "blow" your gun up because the changes are done in the housing which you change with one pin. The whole slide assembly, lower, and barrel are not tampered with. It is a matter of pulling two pins and exchanging the trigger bar and the housing, very simple. Yeah, sucks that you are all the way there.:bangHead:

You will need supervision, as you do not have a RPAL, so the owner of the gun will have to stand and watch you shoot it. You cannot make claims that it wont blow up. As it's not tested other than in a airsoft. 9mm has way more recoil.

I am telling you again: It will NOT blow up, recoil has nothing to do with it.

I prefer the owner to exchange the parts under my supervision (it is so easy) and shoot the gun later. I need his feedback, not mine because it is obvious that no one believes me squat...

"it's legal" says the guy who wants to mess around your gun, doesn't have a RPAL, would not take any responsibilities if something bad and/or illegal happens.
what if it is illegal? who goes to jail? you or him?
what if it blows up? who goes to hospital? you or him?

I urge anyone who see this post do NOT trust this guy. It's not worth it. It is your gun, your money, and more importantly you have to live a happy, healthy and out-of-jail life for yourself and your loved ones.
Think about it, what do you get by taking all above risks? None. if it works, it's his glory. If it doesn't, you go to hell.

I have a lawyer, I can send him all the info and videos etc and discuss. Either way yeah you're right it is my gun and decision and if a gunsmith and lawyer OK it I would give it a shot if I could.

There is always a risk when messing with the trigger mechanism. The recoil of 9mm could bend the linkage preventing the sear from engaging and it going full auto.

Even with the endorsement from lawyer and licensed gunsmith, it's not worth it. What if your lawyer says it's legal and later you are still getting into a legal trouble? In the end you may win the legal case but it would take years to settle? Does your lawyer offer free service for any this kind of legal process? Not even mentioning the mental stress you will go through.

It's import to be nice, but sometimes there has to be a line to draw. Firearm related issues are absolutely this kind of line you would never want to cross. You do not offer any help to people with your own firearms particularly handguns, period.

He started this thing years ago when he had chance to get RPAL and acquired a handgun of his own. Instead he didn't but bought an airgun to mess around. Now he told you the project is being concluded with success and let me play your real handgun.

You trust your handguns to some total strangers just after watching a few clips he posted? Man, you are so nice.

Again, you have not tested it so you legally cannot make any claims and I wouldnt be testing your device. You made it, you can pull the trigger and take responsibility. You expect someone else to pull the trigger first on your un tested device? That is your job.

You claim you want to protect officers lives, but you wont contact them to see if your device is something worth continuing or just another death trap. So who you making it for them or your own ego?

So take some responsibility.

100%. Nailed it.

Seriously guys? Are you making me a coward now? I can test this gun with my eyes closed, I am 100% sure that it will not blow up. I grew up with guns and served in the military too. I have contacted LE and waiting for an answer ATM. I have no problem with testing the gun myself and will even pay the guy the full price of the gun upfront if something goes wrong. We will share the glory since he will be in my youtube video as a person who is for progress and is willing to test a device that could save LIVES!

Or cost them.... should the device prevent the gun from firing when it needs to..
