Hold on. This has nothing to do with the cartridge (but it is a great distraction). This same mentality says you can’t have a handgun because a group of people in Toronto are using them on each other. No?

Personally I think it's pretty cool that there's a 7mm option for those that want to shoot a 7mm 180 grain projectile 2950 fps from factory ammo.

Lol, yes, true. My only concern with this is velocities I'm seeing from a case with less capacity than the 7 Rem Mag. Yes, we have the magic of new powders, but I think this is still coming at higher pressures. We'll see how it pans out going forward. - dan

They are higher pressures. SAAMI pressure for the PRC is higher than the RM.

Saami on the 7RM is 61,000 and on the 7 PRC it's 65,000 PSI
