Alberta restricted transfer

Tried calling in today for the first time, got through after 25 mins on hold. 9026 extension. Sheree answered and was happy to prosses the 3 outstanding transfers I had. Got the email while I was on the phone with her still. Purchased all 3 on October 15th.

Decided to try calling for the first time today since a 4 month wait was daunting.

28 min on hold and got through on first call.

2 transfers approved. I’ll have to call back for more.
Emails came through before I got off the phone.

Will try calling again on Monday for more.

You used the 9026 extension I assume? I guess maybe it depends who you get but that’s frustrating for sure.

This was also my first ever restricted transfer, no questions either which I was surprised about.

Are you effing kidding me?

I called 2 weeks ago, they said they could move 2 transfers to "final approval".

Still waiting...

I spoke to Sherry on the 17th who told me they are now back to approving transfers over the phone rather than sending them in for "final approval".
Unfortunately the transfers that were sent in for final approval still have to go through this process. This was only about a 2 week period after the freeze was
announced. She said the AB CFO office is also frustrated with the CFC decisions but still have to follow the direction given.

Called again this morning after having 2 approved on Friday. Got through on 3rd call. 25 mins on hold and they processed the remaining 3 transfers I had left.

Received the registration certificate in the mail on one of mine from early August, Calgary business to Calgary personal, but still no transfer email. Seems to be working backwards.

Received a ref# this afternoon at 230, had transfer approval at 255. Was Iris' last transfer of the day. But that is record time, post May 2022.

I transferred 2 revolvers to my wife, in the middle of August, with both of us on the line and we haven't seen paperwork yet. They must have been really busy, because she asked me how I was going to physically transfer them. Then I reminded her I was transferring to my wife who lives at the same address!

I called in with the Alberta extension today 9:15am using extension 9026. I got through on the very first ring. I talked to Nancy. She processed my last restricted transfer in less than 5 minutes and sent a copy to myself and to the store while I was still on the line with her.

Called today to the 9026 extension. A lovely lady helped me out over the phone after about a half hour wait, all approved and email in hand before she hung up. Side note, she mentioned they're still working on transfers from late July.

Called in using the 9026 extension on Dec 2, on hold for 17 minutes. SHERRY picked up and transferred all 7 outstanding. She was incredibly helpful, and cheerful and I was left in total shock. I have never had that type of service from anyone. Doesn't she know that JT has labelled us all criminals now?

The CFO phone lines kicked her and me out during the transfers, and she called me back! No panic trying to figure out how to reconnect to her mid-transfer. My transfer initiation dates ranged from Aug 4 to October 4.

If you get Sherry on the line, you are lucky as hell. treat her with respect, she has earned mine. Maybe even let her boss know how helpful her staff are, I know I will be.

Store bought restricted last August and October. Just spoke with a fantastic lady named Linda over the phone at the CFO and both my transfers were approved in 5 minutes. Life is good.

I'm getting my last two purchases from August approved right now. Only took 3 minutes to connect with CFO

I just used the 9026 extension this morning. Finalized my last transfer. Took maybe 10-15 minutes at most. The lady was awesome and said if I know anyone else in Alberta waiting for a transfer just call that extension and they will get it done.
