FOC creditcard fraud?

Wow! What an epic disaster! It's really all Fd up!

Even all this hacking and fraud going on many months ago, since last spring, FOC never even bothered to inform customers ASAP by email, nor give any heads up warnings on their web site of a very serious CC and database breach, like everything is normal and nothing unusual is happening. This seems very convenient and suspicious for FOC to remain silent all this time, as inexcusable with incompetence, while more and more victims get ransacked by fraudulent criminals. Customer service seems non existent. I can imagine this will lead to legal class action lawsuit in the future with so many more victims of fraud coming forward. This will ultimately damage and tarnish FOC's reputation and their TACCOM event in jeopardy.

I didnt put this together until i saw the thread but i bought a few mags then a week or so later got the alerts on my phone several itunes purchases totaling approx $400 then an attempted $1K charge

for those that don't have the alerts set them up them I was able to shut the card down in seconds I set the alerts very low

got me too today

made a purchase couple weeks ago and bam

canadian tire for 450 and door dash

I got lucky on my cc. There was a questionable charge of $0.00 at a gynaecologist in California. im glad it was zero and it was easy to say I do not need those services.

Several months ago I also had some weird $0.00 pending authorization from some place in the USA, can’t remember where or what exactly as it disappeared and was never posted. I had used the card at various online sites (Amazon, FOC, SFRC, tenda, etc) and in person, so not sure where the potential breach happened.

Add me to the list...I have been going crazy trying to figure out how this happened as I never use my card anywhere except for an FOC purchase a month ago...FFS

The credit card company told me these were “testers”. My “tester” was a lawyers office in Texas

Yes my Mastercard defraud in July was $1600 in apple iTunes cards and an attempted larger charge that triggered the fraud dept.

my Visa card was tested for $1.75 at some sort of health clinic so maybe the same operation, but no other charges were put against it.

Not impressed by response from FOC. It seems they were aware of the breach and did nothing to inform their customers. Disappointed with their lack of concern for the security of their customers.

To quote a Karen "You have lost a customer".

FYI Credit cards are now being taken out in my name. What a #### show! FOC has lost my business for life. Who knows how long I will be dealing with the repercussions of their lack of diligence.

I mentioned this thread to a family member. After I said FOC seems to be compromised, he said that was the last place he used his card. 4 days after the purchase his card number was used in Quebec at a drone store.

You got some Spyware or a highjacked paygate FOC. Unfuk your business

I can’t believe CGN doesn’t just ban these fools.

It’s beyond obvious they are either involved themselves or knowingly allowed it to continue happening to capitalize on the buying frenzy, either way a disgusting lack of character and ethics.

Not a pillar of this community by any means.

The half assed apology post before vanishing again.. seriously ?

I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if it’s someone involved with this operation doing all the shopping or they are getting a kickback.

My card was fraudulently used just a few days after a FOC transaction for designer clothes and shoes in a province I've never been to.

It's a pain in the ass to correct, very inconvenient.

I wonder how many card in total were compromised.

Personally I'd like to thank FOC. Because my card is locked and now canceled; I've really saved a lot of money by not being able to shop Black Friday deals.

In all seriousness definitely last time shopping with them, though based on their half assed explanation and apology I doubt that matters to them much.
