It will be a hard one to enforce. It will be other gun owners policing it more than Leo's.
Waiting since Nov 4th no card yet. You can call and get your license # as soon as you are approved you are licenced immediately.

You are right, its all bulls**t, but it hasn't stopped this government before.
The PM perjured himself during the Emergency Act Tribunals, when he said that he never called "anti-vaxxers" discriminatory / derogatory names. Which we have seen dozens of video's proving otherwise.
The news came out that the PM locked down this country and restricted travel, then asked his teams to find a scientific reason to support it, after the fact.
He froze peoples personal assets and bank accounts because Canadians were protesting against his unconstitutional decisions.
He fired female ministers who refused to break the law for him, and several other scandals (Black face, ###ual misconduct, donations from the CCP, etc).
Do you think he cares about the law and what he can legally do?

Simply Put. RCMP don't have the manpower, or finances to collect AR15s, let alone people with Mauser rifles. My friend is a gunowner, conservative and a town police. He works with the RCMP, they barely can get people to cover shifts. It's going to be other shooters and gun owners, ratting out other people, NOT the police.

I am still waiting for my PAL, and I fear that wait times are being intentionally delayed until C21 is passed. I hope I am wrong.

I have no reason not to believe him. He is in the same boat as every gunowners, and equally as pissed. He sees the justice system and how it is a joke, He sees the failure to go after the illegal flow of firearms, that nearly puts his life on the line. He took 2 snub nose 38 from the same person, different times, of course unlicensed.

As a LEO, he must be so frustrated with the current environment. He's putting his life on the line day-in-day-out while these misguided hooligans' sit in boardrooms behind their armed security and write policies that affect us all!
I hear ya...I took my Restricted course in August (had PAL for a long, long time already) in hopes to be able to get a handgun in time (yes, no one to blame but myself for waiting so long), and then when the freeze happened, I thought well I can always get that B&T...but nope...
For those who are getting their PALs for the first time, there certainly is a lot more selection for the first time gun buyer who is looking at Non-Restricteds. At this point I can imagine too many people signing up for Restricted courses going forward...
Not a surprise there. They don't update it until they open the envelope...it is then that they will backdate it for Oct 28. Why they do this instead of just updating during actual receipt (even if it is not being processed), I am not sure - could be maybe they don't want to give the impression they are working on it when they are not. But many including myself can state that you only see an update when they open the application envelope. That could take 1-2 months.
Mine was approved on Nov. 8/22. I still don't have it. Called the Alberta CFO on the 24th and was told they only print a couple times a week. And, get this, the printer is broken. I offered to buy a new one for them from Staples and send it directly to them. Apparently that wasn't funny. Anyway, I'm still waiting. I believe they are holding it up until a total ban on long guns is passed then they'll tell me to F off.
So do they print these in one centralize location (CFP, Mirimichi) or are these printed at each respective provincial CFO office?
