I would like to know what your absolute favorite firearm you own is.

Of all my firearms my fav is my Ruger M77 30-06. Dad took me to a gun store on my 17th birthday and said you get $500.00 and that's it. Mine was one of the few with factory iron sights (it is scoped as well). This rifle is one I take out to look at, clean and oil, and despite what others say about 77's, mine shoots excellent. Put a Timney trigger on it 2 years ago (should have done that 20 years ago). This rifle, I'm sure like many others that people have, hold a memory or two. Not for sale, never will be, nor will the Liberals ever get it.

I'd say out of all the guns in my gunroom, my absolute favorite is my reworked M38 Mauser in 6.5X55. I have never shot a more accurate centerfire. It's had a new trigger group installed, barrel shortened just a touch, new Williams sights installed, see through mounts and 3X9. Everything is ALWAYS just one tiny hole under a dime in size at 100 yards in a 5 shot group with my handloads. Next in line is my old French MAS Mauser .22 cal. training rifle. God knows how many rabbits have fallen to that rifle. GRIN I like 'em all, so it's hard to pick favorites but those two are at the top of the list.

Favorite firearm

I'd have to say would be my Remington 700 Mountain Rifle .280 Rem w/Leupold VariX III 2.5-8. Bought it new in '86 and carried it on many hunts for over the following 10 years, taking many nice Whitetails in Ontario and Manitoba. Have mostly carried a Remington 700 SS DM 7m/m Rem-mag bought new in 1998 and is still my main rifle for Elk and deer in Alberta and BC, but my trusty Mountain Rifle is still my sentimental favorite. Think it deserves to accompany my "stainless wonder" to Alberta this September.

Dad's old Ithaca SxS 12ga. She's just an old sweetheart. Dad bought used when he was young, he's now 79yrs.
My S&W Mod 66 snub. most fun gun in the safe.

A Ruger M77 (old tang safety model) in .257 Roberts. It's not the most accurate, and certainly far from being the most powerful rifle in the collection. But it was my first serious deer rifle, and somehow it's the one I just can't help cycling and throwing to my shoulder whenever I see it.
