Good call, never seen that before. UTG has come along way in the last few years with some of their USA production.
I wonder if that would fit with the longer barrel.... looks short enough.

I based my purchase of this pick because I like how it sticks out a bit passed the handguard. My order was for a 7 inch can I change to a 8 or what would a 7 inch look like with the Magpul backpacker fore end? That was actually an 8" prototype. The seven is slightly shorter. It is meant to go with the Midwest Industries hand guards we have on order, but... once C21's amendment was announced, we decided not to wait for them to arrive.

We want a NR barrel too please.
That does look pretty cool, BUT, our barrels are a fair bit thicker than the factory ruger barrel. I'm not so sure that will fit now that I'm looking closer.
Like lighter weight NR barrel. That'd be handy.
But if you just mean an 18'5" barrel for those who bought 16" (R) rifles I am not sure there is much market for that.
Not to say ATRS wouldn't do custom on request.

Here's a better pic with measurements:

Where would you get this?
Looks nice
Our much hinted at, short barrels for Ruger PC carbine takedowns are available to order now.
Expected to ship in 10-12 weeks. Each barrel is custom built, especially given the upcoming BS hanging over all of us.
The barrel price DOES include the takedown hardware but does not include a handguard/forend.

Fluted barrel?!
I thought you folks didnt like fluting?
Great new idea BTW, I wish you luck with it in the current climate.
Whats the point if it makes it R. the whole benefit of increased portability is useless.
There are also a few disciplines using a PCC, making the short barrel a faster-handling platform for those who enjoy its reliability.
Fingers crossed this whole amendment gets reversed and we get to keep using them for that as well.
