Update On Ontario Restricted Transfer Times

Had a couple purchases from auction and stores with two items. My experience was that there were a couple days between the notices coming in from the CFO. Which does seem odd for a same day purchase from the same company.

I think you might have your date wrong. It must have been initiated earlier than June 27. I have a 59519** initiated on June 24, so a transfer initiated on June 27 cannot have a lower number.

I should have clarified that the 27th was when I was finally able to call in to complete my half. It was technically initiated about a week earlier. I assume it only went in the queue after my call. I wasn't quite sure what terminology to use.

Was leafing through some other provincial transfer threads and noted there have been 599### and 600### numbers transferred in the Manitoba thread

Ya. There’s 601***s I’ve seen for Alberta. It’s so frustrating that even though Ontario is lagging behind they’re not doing anything to process the transfers any faster.

So I am in the midst of a personal-personal transfer from my dad and the clock started ticking on September 7th. Is there a significant difference in time between personal transfers and business to personal and if so which way? Should I be looking for it next June?

Got approved 2 week ago for transfer 5960### started July 5 in Ontario, but haven't received my certificate or updated license. Is this a normal timeline to get updated docs?

I live in the Ottawa valley. A bit too far to drive for me specially since I start my Xmas vacation on Saturday of Next week. I wish I could but oh well

Most places in the valley would be no more than a 4 hour drive to get there. My last one is in Alberta. If I had only four hours to drive I'd be on the road weather permitting.
