What wax do you use on a gunstock and why?

Head to Cambodian Tire; Carnauba car wax. Nothing fancy. Paste wax. If you are ex military then, Clear Shoe Polish found at the Canex. That’s what I rub on rust prone (Think of Remington SPS 700 or 870 rough finish) firearms. Hey, it’s only wax so you can only improve things. LOL :nest:

I have a soft spot for curly maple for a gunstock and looks like they chose a nice piece of lumber. A beautiful rifle worth looking after. Something different you don't see everyday, enjoy it 45C.
