Raven 9mm by Lockhart Tactical or Kriss Vector?

Nobody in their right mind should buy anything from Lockhart Tactical. I've had a bad experience with them in the past buying ammo. I know a couple other people who have as well. And if you search around CGN you will find a pattern. It would be best for the firearms industry in Canada if Samuel Lockhart just went away and opened a coffee shop or something.

I second this 100%. Lockhart blows.

How is the Vector "proven"? I have quite a bit of time with them, the 9mm and .45 versions are not what I would consider highly reliable guns, the 10mm is likely no better. They are soft shooting and controllable but thats where my praise ends.

I guess the Canadian semi-auto may be better but that is not how something gets to be "proven". There are a lot of good options out there, the Vector and that gun that doesn't actually exist aren't among them.

Proven to exist, parts exist, doesn't appear to fall apart. I didn't mean combat proven or anything, and I agree it's a pretty mediocre gun. I'd still pick it 10 times out of 10 over the Raven tho.

The time of answers is nearly upon us! Will anyone receive one of these rifles? Are they real? Will they work? What a fun mystery for me to enjoy - by watching what happens to other people who bit down on this lure. It was shiny, attractive and seemed cool. But where's the hook? From the sounds of everyone who has dealt with Lockhart, there's definitely a hook and it's probably a rusty hook too...

I currently own a FX-9, Kriss Vector G2, Kriss Vector 22 LR and B&T APC9. I also shot a B&T GHM9.
I would say save an extra 300-400 and get a B&T GHM9 over the Vector (though they might be the same price now).
Once I got the Vector I never brought the FX-9 to the range again. The Vector is fun to shoot (a little awkward to hold though), but I've always had failure to eject on the second to last round on both my 9mm and 22 LR versions.
It's all fun until your bolt is munching on your casings

Lockhart is the worst retailer I’ve ever dealt with.

I second this.

They're one of those stores that carries items on their site despite not actually having them in stock.

I purchased an IR light from them before and was told that they would need to order the product in, but they wouldn't order it until they fulfilled a certain amount to make their shipping worth it.
It took them almost 6-8 months to get the order but when the item came in I was told they ordered the wrong item and tried to convince me to just purchase the product that came in.

After telling them I would wait for the actual item I ordered, it took like another 4-6 months of silence then the item just showed up at my door.
Took like a year and so for the thing to come in, for a product that shows in stock on their website.

Don't walk, RUN away from Lockhart Tactical and anything the owner is involved with...........I dealt Lockhart Tactical on a business level a few years ago and they were a nightmare to deal with.

Notorious drop shipper who ran the business out of their house........

That tells you alot. My wife works customer service and when I was done with Lockhart. My wife was like what a ######

They charged me 14$ or more for shipping, I get a padded envelope with 2 stamps. They left the invoice from Blueline that they ordered the parts from, that were 4$ cheaper each. Which I just returned a order from as the product image was different.

Well I received my raven 9 from Lockhart today. Very well built. Great tolerances. The left hand mag release button was a little hard to push so I shortened the spring and now it's pretty good. Now to see if it's reliable. I'll get back to you.

I stand corrected! I am looking forward to your review.

Couldn’t agree more! The guy seems to think that his “no refund” policy holds water after 30 days. He knows nothing about consumer protection and uses bully tactics when you demand a refund. I made a purchase a few summers ago and demanded a refund after over 110 days of not receiving my item. He blatantly told me he wasn’t refunding my money and I threatened to launch a dispute with my card issuer. His response was that he would send my account to collections if I won the dispute which is highly sketchy. Even though I had emails stating that I would receive my item within 30 days of purchase. Stay away.

Well now there seems to be one in Mississauga.
Interested to hear the range report!
And the details and process/dancing threw snake pits to get it!
Also what the weight with the Holosun 510C
