Ahh I see they're finally clearing out the last Mausers they had in stock from the the last civil war I see ... jokes aside I guess for a rifle with Iron sights that's about as cheap as it gets. It's a bit weird how bits are chipped out for what I can only assume is a better fit of the parts all over the rifle

Little does the liberal party know, if they just had fundraisers with ####ty chinese clones of 'hunting rifles', they could fund their next election run off canadian gun owners

500 a bit steep for what this is IMO ... if it was cheap Id buy one, I like it. I like the look of it but would prefer a shorter barrel as others have said.

The Norinco M334, Guaranteed 12 MOA!

Actually my example was surprisingly accurate.

I did an extensive write up and break down of these if anyone cares to read. Pretty sure the pictures are still there? I haven't looked at the thread in a while.

Yep, they're all there. The entire thread is an interesting read if you're considering purchasing one of these.

The cost to get a container shipped from China went up 15x since pre-covid, inflation, Chinese gov likely selling a little less due to stocking up for rising war tensions.

Lots of reasons these are *only* $200 more than the .223 ones that were in 10 years ago

Fit and finish can't really be excused, they've been doing this for a few years lol

Better check your sources. Shipping freights dropped 90 % since the top in 2021.

There are updates and new info throughout the thread. Very interesting read.

Thanks for that, jb. A very thorough assessment.

Looks like I even commented on that thread. That was 8 1/2 years ago. Man.

First thing I tried, mate. Didn't see it there. Might just be getting old and blind. :)

Don’t buy ONE!

Buy TWO of them for NL hunting ; moose, bear, and grouse. Make both my rifles in 22 gauge!! :nest:

All good fun! Heh Heh Heh...

Peace Be The Journey!

And just for old time’s sake, “It’s a Norinco; you can only make them better!”

Cheers, Barney

If they are anything like the one I owned, they are crude in the extreme. Maybe these are better? Hopefully.

First thing I thought of was your old review. I was wondering if these were pressed and pinned barrels or not. In all honesty, they could have done a beavertail forend, called it a C3 homage, and charged more.

At 500$, they are ugly garbage no one would want to touch with a ten foot pole.
At 250$, they would be sold out in minutes.
