I'm trying to establish a value for a M31 I have, that I'm thinking about getting rid of to re-invest into something different for a collection.
First off, the weld on the side of the receiver cracked (as many early import versions did) and has been rewelded. As a result the rifle shoots slightly to one side but is otherwise solid and I've put about 150 rounds thru it since it was rewelded to make sure the new weld was solid. Additionally, the safety often engages when the rifle is fired (I think it's just a weak safety pin spring). I also have 5 stick mags and 1 drum mag as well as a pouch for the mags that would be included in the sale.
I've seen some pretty high prices on the EE ($1500-2000) but with the reweld, I don't think mine is worth quite that much. So what would be a fair value?
