I'm trying to establish a value for a M31 I have, that I'm thinking about getting rid of to re-invest into something different for a collection.
First off, the weld on the side of the receiver cracked (as many early import versions did) and has been rewelded. As a result the rifle shoots slightly to one side but is otherwise solid and I've put about 150 rounds thru it since it was rewelded to make sure the new weld was solid. Additionally, the safety often engages when the rifle is fired (I think it's just a weak safety pin spring). I also have 5 stick mags and 1 drum mag as well as a pouch for the mags that would be included in the sale.

I've seen some pretty high prices on the EE ($1500-2000) but with the reweld, I don't think mine is worth quite that much. So what would be a fair value?

Bought one last year with 2 stick and one drum for $1K. Horrible brick thing, only bought it for investment, probably will never shoot it. I think Marstar sold them for $700 a few years ago.

Bought mine as a plinker years ago but have replaced it with something else. But I've no idea what it's worth anymore as I haven't seen any rewelded ones on EE in a while.

There is the one in the EE @$1300, extra barrel fewer mags, no weld repair.
The weld and safety issue won't help yours sell, the extra mags are a bonus.
C-21 status? If threatened by C-21, you might want to get it sold.

Agreed, I just bought a new/used trigger assembly to put on it....Hopefully that solves that issue.
