Kimber hunter and 8x57 Owners

Super nice to have a floorplate for dumping rounds if you’re in and out of a jet boat

This is a major concern in southern Saskatchewan obviously

I don’t think it’s possible, the molded in trigger guard abuts the magwell on the the hunter. The catch is also molded in if I remember right?

Sure but the stock isn’t nearly expensive enough

Though I have to say the hunter probably has the best “ plastic” stock I’ve used. They really are a hot buy

Never played with one tbh. I could have gotten down with it but the moulded in trigger guard drives me nuts. I guess I’m a snob

I think they’re kind of neat tbh but as everyone reading this thread knows I’m kind of weird

Use Tikka Jim’s patented technique to remove the stock goo and you have a gun that weighs the same (less?) than a Montana with a box magazine.

The stocks are super rigid, apparently they use a honeycomb pattern in the fore end.

The molded in mag well and trigger guard are cool design features from a weight saving perspective. I do wonder if you could do the same with a fibreglass stock. I figure the weight adding goo and plastic are the only thing stopping the hunter from outpacing the Montana in sales.

When they were 1200 bucks and Tikkas ~1000 it seemed like a no brainer.

Ok... so back on the page here. You're looking for a 84L barreled action, or, an entire rifle? With a .470" bolt face diameter?

R.

Who knows man, who knows

A full rifle can be used while the barrel is built and money saved for gunsmithing. We aren’t all helicopter pilots

Let a boy dream, I just wanted to know if the gun would feed 8x57 rounds :dancingbanana:
