What is your most recent hunting rig purchase.

I just bought anothe .44 Ruger carbine,Ive been very lucky to find some of these, the last one was 99.9 percent condition I've never seen one so well cared for ,with a verified 25 rounds fired out of it.This one I just picked up is very nice also, but not like the last one .

They are getting very hard to find, these have all come from the sane shop who sold them locally years ago and I just follow the grapevines and hope I get a chance to buy them. These little carbines are fun and deserve to be used ,not sitting in a collection to look at lol.

Couldn’t resist getting a Ruger American 450 Bushmaster from Prophet River today. Had to have it after watching YouTube videos of it all night. Go wild model, bronze Cerakote, factory brake, trigger looks like it was stolen from Savage. Surprisingly light rifle for a cannon. Plus they had a Leupold made just for the bushmaster 450 so grabbed it too.

Thanks and enjoy!!!!!!!!!!
lots of ammo and dies, brass, bullets in stock )

I was thinking the same, left the store to quick. All I had was a cantilever at home. Gives me another excuse to hit Prophet River again lol.

CVA scout 243 compact, take down, stainless from prophet river for the wife. With scope mounted, taken down it’ll fit in a 24”x10” case of some sort. Weighs in at 7lbs 12.7oz with scope and sling. Balances really nice, very nice carry. Quality and trigger are A1, and it shoots at least moa with federal blue box. Going to pick up some 95NBT for spring bear and see if the wife can fill her first tag.

I could see myself adding a stainless whelen to the safe when they’re available. Might be a perfect rainy day moose carry in Northern Ontario.

There we go, brought the scope way down using Leupold PRW2 low profile rings. Little bastards are heavy for their size. This is going to be a great calibre for bigger game and laying and beating on wild hogs and coyotes.
