Just curious, is there some reason why we always see these with a pistol grip? Personally I'd be more interested if they were in a standard profile stock, less snag potential in the bush.

...I've spent lots of time in the bush with pistol grip rifles and they really aren't prone to snagging. A longer barrel is far more cumbersome in the bush than a pistol grip or protruding magazine....
There aren't many standard stocks that fold or collapse. I've seen a few over the years but they sure aren't common.

If you don't need a collapsing stock but want a standard style you might just want to find a scout rifle you like.
I picked up a bronco 12.5 in 308. Handles well and have sighted in with 150g. Did get 1inch group well sighted in. I never got a chance to chrono it yet but will try next time out

Wish I would have kept this one I put together a few years back. Tikka t3x action, IBI Remage nut barrel in 308Win, 1-10 twist, finished at 12.5".
Would be easy enough to build one of these using an XLR atom stock. Very small compact and has the option of folder. Add your action, and get a prefit barrel made of your liking.
Had to lookup the BCL x 39, and of course the first place I look they have 3 in stock.
cycoblade, they had 2 in the OD in stock.
