Update On Ontario Restricted Transfer Times

Damn I'll probably be getting the rest of mine today, kinda hoped they'd stagger so I can enjoy them individually
By the sheet it looks like we are just over a week away from the end of the big transfer numbers (depending on march break). Dam now I am wishing i had ordered one of those surplus Beretta 92s from Elwood Epps. At the time they were going for around mid $500s and i was waiting for them to have a fire sale that never happened. I was also skeptical because it looked like the transfer would take a year or more.
From what I've heard this was due to increased prices from the distributer. The distributors increased costs were due to switching to air fright to get all the product that they had bought and paid for that was out of country into Canada and on store shelves ASAP.
If I remember correctly I think it was Prophet River that explained it fairly clearly.
Yes i a not complaining about the price asked, but when were were getting to the inevitable freeze date, i thought maybe some places might have a "dont want to get caught with them" "get it out even if it means selling at cost" sales lol. In that game of chicken I lost. As the knight guarding the grail said. "I chose poorly"

Most retailers were having the opposite happen- not enough supply to meet the almost endless demand.
It is amazing where we started with the chart and now we are near the end of it, I have been checking the thread from time to time but did not have anything to report

Been waiting patiently for my transfers, which are all coming up shortly. This thread & chart kept me from going crazy waiting for my first & hopefully not last hand guns.
