Update On Ontario Restricted Transfer Times

just found out my email address had a mistake in it and my b to p was approved march 10. do i need to apply for att now or do i need the email aproval or just wait for cet to come in mail?
Your email serves as an ATT to pick up your pistol. The certificate will take about 2 weeks to get in the mail. Just make sure the seller also got the transfer notice.

So is that it, is it done? By the sheet I would say that the bulk transfers created due to the pending freeze announced at the end of May, and enacted in late Oct, are done. I am sure there are a few outliers still to be completed but assume they will get caught up pretty quick, or at least in what we used to think of as normal time.

I would say I feel relieved and saddened. Relieved that the promise that transfers in the system would be honoured and people got what they paid for but saddened that because we are handgun owners we are heaped in a pile with the rest of the criminals. We live in a society that no one trusts us because our own government has told them not to. They have taught them that we are the problem and that only they can protect them from us.

We are in a part of society that if we want to promote our sport or if we want to try to teach people that we are not the problem we risk being exposed as one of "them".

Heads up folks, seek your truth and promote your sport. A Go amongst those who you think are your enemies and make them realize they are wrong. . Once people realize that it is the people that they always trusted and respected who are the normal gun owner in Canada and that we are not the problem the easier it will be for any government to make a correction. As long as they still believe the we are the problem, not one will have the political will to do it.

No, this thread is for Ontario Restricted Transfer times. All restricted firearms apply as the approval process is done by numbered order regardless of the firearm purchased.

Why would it matter if it was a handgun or rifle. They are in the same line up. Many of the previous posters could have been posting about rifles and it still tells you if they are closer to getting to yours.

It's in the handgun forum.....

My last one came through. I would like to thank everyone for posting to this thread so that the spreadsheet could be kept up to date. Hopefully this madness ends and we can get on with purchasing more handguns.

I just wanted to say thanks to Wolf , for getting the chart up and running so we could all track our purchases. Hopefully things change for the better in the future.
Thanks to all the members that contributed their data to the chart. Without your info, the chart would have been useless.
And thank you to the folks at Prophet River and all the other retailers, distributors and importers for bringing in the stock and getting it into our hands.
Also a big thank you to the folks at the ON CFO's office for all their hard work in processing these transfers as quickly as they could.
Lastly, let's hope we see some change in our favour coming down the pipeline. Things are heating up for the Turd. Let's keep the fire burning and get a better government for all Canadians in the future.

Thank you!

I agree!!!
Now that it seems that the CFOON may be done with the handguns, this thread can be used for.....Ontario Restricted Transfers.....
I have a few more transfers pending in the #606###x area. I will keep checking this thread, and update the approvals.

... handgun or rifle? This thread is only for handguns.
No. I believe it's for ALL restricted transfers since they are processed sequentially. Also, with all do respect, the owner(s) of the thread/creator's of the spreadsheet make the decisions on here. I think any data or input from members is valuable for many reasons. Keep it up ladies and gentleman. We stand stronger together.

I agree. A simple fact of statistics is, the more data we have for the spreadsheets the better the accuracy of our estimates.

I'm assuming all the pistol transfers are done now with the exception of a few stragglers.

Does anyone have a recent transfer number for a rifle? I'm interested to know how many of those are pending.
