Would a APC223 NR be worth the money over say a X95 if a fella didn’t mind bullpups but preferred traditional style rifles?
X95 is easily the best black rifle you can buy in Canada, when all factors are considered. Price, size, reliability, parts and availability, its got it all.
I'm having this debate myself. Currently own a custom X95. With the added trigger upgrades, grip, buttpad the cost is getting very close to an APC 223. My question is, how much benefit does the B&T add, and how accessible are parts?
The X95 is proven, I have run thousands of rounds and used it in over a dozen 3gun matches. Other than the odd magazine failure (feed lips and weak springs) it has run 100% of the time.
You managed to put $2500 worth of upgrades on to a $2500 rifle? How is that even possible?
The most expensive X95 upgrade I have seen is the full trigger, which is about $800. The butt, grip will run another $200 or so. Thats a long way from doubling the cost of the X95 rifle.
ATRS is a good choice too, considering the vast availability of parts and upgrades. Very lightweight too.
Really want to get a calculator out. CGN is ridiculous.
X95 - $2850
Lightning bow - $195
Super Sabra trigger pack - $620
Pistol grip & IDF panels - $80
Curved Butt pad - $120
Manicure optimus hand guard - $140
Total = $4005
Just to appease you, these prices were taken directly from RDSC. But I know some items can be had for cheaper. Back to my original point. With these upgrades, the cost gets CLOSE to a B&T APC 223 (currently at Northern Elite for $4875). Again, the price is CLOSE. Jeesus.
