Very unfortunate if these shotguns are unable to slam fire as being able to slam fire is unique , and very cool ; but it sounds like those days are over .

What's a trench shotgun without a bayonet mount?
At least Mossberg has it's "Retrograde" 590A1 with a heat shield, bayonet mount, and 8+1 capacity...
And what's with a Turkish company using a "slang term for Canadian" as its name? That's just weird...

i am not sure if you are joking or not but here is a serious answer. O'Dell Engineering, the distributor who brings these guns into Canada, markets them under the Canuck brand. I know that some of the other guns they bring in (like the FD12) are quality controlled by boots-on-the-ground employees in Turkey. In those cases, guns that meet O’Dell’s standards are marked with an “OD” serial number and are fully supported for warranty work. I cant say for sure but i would assume the same applies to this one.

ah yes, silly me. I forgot, "canada is the first post-national state"... You can import anything from the east and just call it "canadian"...
The Mossberg will also set you back about $1800 to your door and no choke (more $ to cut your own in the heavy walled barrel). One could buy several of these for that. It's an apples to pears comparison.
You wrote $749 wrong. No one is selling the retro590 for $1800. I dont think there is any mossberg product that sells for 1800 lol.
Sooooooo…..
To make sure we actually know as the action does move as though it would slam fire…. We took one on the range to test.
It does not.
Do you know if it's possible for the importer of these Ithaca clones to make custom orders with specs matching the compact Stakeout model and other Military versions with full length mag tubes and Parkerized finishes? Some nice boring straight grain walnut stocks with no checkering and bonus point for Minimal Markings....
They would sell well.
Yep, I just checked and I'm a little high on that, but you're also quite low. The most recent pricing on them was $1200.00 before taxes and shipping, and they're sold out. So, if you can find a 590A1 retro, expect about $1500 or so to your door, then have the barrel cut for chokes ($300?)...so let's call it $1800 all in?
My guy, we're living in a world where an SKS is $1000.00, try to keep up.
Retro 590a1's are $1199 plus tax from what I found and the standard retro 590's are is $749
Focus boys.....
Who wants a Turkish Mod 37 Stakeout clone with a nice clean set of walnut stocks?
Something like this but with a full butt stock,
