Canuck CC37 Trench Gun Just in!

Very unfortunate if these shotguns are unable to slam fire as being able to slam fire is unique , and very cool ; but it sounds like those days are over .

There are plenty of shotguns about that slam fire, you make it sound like the function is outlawed or something?

Weird decision making them with the short mag tube IMO really kills the look cool factor.

Turkey doesn't automatically equal crap, my Winchester SXP Trench is Turkish made and it's awesome it's all about the oversight.

Bottom eject gives another fun option for the lefties I guess. I just wish more manufacturers would jump onboard with flush mag tubes. Short tube "tactical" guns just look silly.

What's a trench shotgun without a bayonet mount?

At least Mossberg has it's "Retrograde" 590A1 with a heat shield, bayonet mount, and 8+1 capacity...

And what's with a Turkish company using a "slang term for Canadian" as its name? That's just weird...

They will put your name on the gun if you order enough....... :)

The Mossberg will also set you back about $1800 to your door and no choke (more $ to cut your own in the heavy walled barrel). One could buy several of these for that. It's an apples to pears comparison.

i am not sure if you are joking or not but here is a serious answer. O'Dell Engineering, the distributor who brings these guns into Canada, markets them under the Canuck brand. I know that some of the other guns they bring in (like the FD12) are quality controlled by boots-on-the-ground employees in Turkey. In those cases, guns that meet O’Dell’s standards are marked with an “OD” serial number and are fully supported for warranty work. I cant say for sure but i would assume the same applies to this one.

Ah yes, silly me. I forgot, "Canada is the first post-national state"... you can import anything from the east and just call it "Canadian"...

You wrote $749 wrong. No one is selling the retro590 for $1800. I dont think there is any mossberg product that sells for 1800 lol.

Yep, I just checked and I'm a little high on that, but you're also quite low. The most recent pricing on them was $1200.00 before taxes and shipping, and they're sold out. So, if you can find a 590A1 retro, expect about $1500 or so to your door, then have the barrel cut for chokes ($300?)...so let's call it $1800 all in?:sok2f:P:2::ang

My guy, we're living in a world where an SKS is $1000.00, try to keep up.

Sooooooo…..

To make sure we actually know as the action does move as though it would slam fire…. We took one on the range to test.

It does not.

Do you know if it's possible for the importer of these Ithaca clones to make custom orders with specs matching the compact Stakeout model and other Military versions with full length mag tubes and Parkerized finishes? Some nice boring straight grain walnut stocks with no checkering and bonus point for Minimal Markings.... :)

They would sell well.

Id like one like that too

I'm not your guy, friend.

Nice try.

Some very basic Google Fu shows at lease 5 Canadian stores that have either the 500 or 590 retro in stock right now with at lease 3 590s. None are over $800 and most are sight sponsers and several offer free shipping. So lets say $850 after tax and shipping plus your $300 for barrel cut and chokes. $1150 is still a far cry from $1800
Try and keep up!

Focus boys..... :)

Who wants a Turkish Mod 37 Stakeout clone with a nice clean set of walnut stocks?

Something like this but with a full butt stock,

I don't know why they didn't just do an aesthetically authentic trench clone. Even a standard 14 inch model without the awful billboard would sell like hot cakes.

And bead sights only from now on. Please. Those blades are awful.
