Anyone here uses the HDPS SL8 to G36 Stock Block?

Is it made of aluminum or polymer?

mine was a bit too long and would occasionally hit the rim of a case in the mag and bugger things up. filed it down and ok now. check your install - if you don't have the springs right the hold open can float around a bit.

if you want something that will work with the hk sling hook, perhaps any stock with a QD attachment point and one of these:

it will work on anything that takes a sling QD (quick disconnect). i can't post pics, but if you google 'QD Paraclip Adapter stock' and go to images you will see a bunch of examples.

I didn’t weigh the Hera block, I’m sure the weight is available on internet.

I’ve got my gunsmith mate doing the work, when it’s complete I will post back with what he says

The only potential permanent modification is one of the springs is too long and needs to be trimmed to size. This can easily be avoided by finding a new spring like I did.

You can basically swap the trigger group back and forth between the Hera kit and HK stock as needed.

Does anyone have any tips for an SL8 flash hider? I'm thinking it will need to clamp the the barrel, the only thing I've found that looks purpose-built is on a very sketchy spanish website

Personally I would skip the clamp on route and get it threaded if you want a muzzle device. I have a surefire procomp installed on mine and its great
