Looking for a semi-auto--Benelli M4 or Beretta 1301 Tactical?

I was torn between the 2 as well, decided to build a M1301T

The new Mossberg 940 tactical is sweet as well.
Wow, do you mind sharing the build list?
I am also considering the M4 and 1301, and while the 1301 is cheaper, I want to compare the price again after adding pistol grip, and mag tune extension which are stock on M4 tactical.

Certainly, all my components were sourced through Tactical Ordnance.

Mesa Tactical Hydraulic buffer pistol grip kit for Beretta 1301T(you can purchase kit without hyd buffer)

Nordic Components mag ext kit w rubber gasket

MDT carbine to carbine folding stock adapter w 2 way locking

Beretta Pro lifter

Nordic Components follower

The build cost me around $3600. I have since sold that project & I am building another all in black.

Haven't fired a real m4, but the 1301 gets my vote (I know it's an older thread).

Beretta advertises the 1301 as able to cycle and fire 4 rounds in a second but it'll go faster than that. Buddies and I were shooting with a timer and 2 of us easily fired 5 under a second, my best was 6 in 1.1 seconds.

Both were 21" Comps.

I'm not a great shooter, I bet others can do better.

It's a slick gun with better ergos than an m4 (just my opinion), and it runs faaaast if you want it to.

I only run junk target ammo, but my short wife and kids have no problem handling it.

Super fun to shoot, I'm glad I chose it over the benelli.
