Help with a Reloading Set Up

Thank you. I will definitely try this. I’m going to label different cases with the permanent marker. Like “H4895 59 grain”, “H4831 45 grain”. It definitely save my money and time. I was searching for an easy and quick powder measure and here it is!

...

Is possible that might already be done for you - if you are into volume scoops - I got a set of Lee scoops - I think is 15 different size scoops - with a sliding cardboard chart that shows how much of 95 (?) types of powder - so want 52 grains of Varget - just slide that chart and find "Varget" and then "52.0" grains - tells you which scoop to use. I did not look it up, but I think those sets used to be less that $20 - I have no clue what they go for now.

I’m not a volume shooter, but I’m planning to practice offhand shooting. I used to sight in and will not shoot another round until I saw a game animal. I have a few calibres, but I will focus on my new 9.3x74R on a Blaser BBF platform. In my limited hunting experience, I have found that the opportunity for offhand shooting overshadows the supported shooting.
I will use your way in my way. I will shoot a few rounds of 9.3x74R, then file the used brass till it holds the maximum amount of powder minus one grain. Mark it and put it aside for future uses. As I have different 9.3 bullets from the Cutting Edge to Nosler accubond, to Barnes to PPU, I will use a few fired brass to cover all the bases. If I plan to load 9.3x62 or 308, I will use 9.3x62 and 308 Brass respectively. No confusion.

Planning to load a few hundred rounds to improve my offhand shooting

I still have a few scoops made from handgun brass that I inherited many years ago, so your idea will certainly work. Likely much easier to just buy a set of Lee plastic scoops though. - dan

Couldn’t agree more with that^ And they are surprisingly accurate once you get to know how to scoop properly.
