With the Handgun Ban confirmed, are you gonna shoot less your handgun, since if it breaks you cannot buy a new one and the average repair time if you are lucky can take 6-24 months

I stocked up on springs and parts, have duplicates of my favorite pistols. Always knew this day would come.

IF it breaks you fix it, nobody is stopping you from buying replacement parts or aftermarket upgrades to it if you can justify the costs,
You just cant replace the serialized components (eg: lower for Glocks, FCO for P320s etc)

Almost all stores I know still carry parts for them, just not in previous abundant quantities as before due to low demand.
IIRC, you can still purchase ITAR exempt components directly from the states if needed too, just pay duties, or have someone like IRUNGUNS import them for you

The only handgun (so far) "ban" is the transfer between individuals. Nothing has changed since Oct of 22 and everything can change with a different environment.

Cannot buy a 1970 Mustang either but if I had it I surely would drive it as much as i could. Did not buy it just to "have" it. If they break, they break. Fix em, grab another from the safe, and keep on rocking.

I have like 20 quality handguns and each model, I bought two each so it would last me another 20 or more years down the road since I only shot like 2k rounds per year. So shot away. If there is going to be a market for handgun spare parts, I'm sure there will be somebody who is going to get a shop to machine them down the road.

A Glock frame is good for 500k rounds and most metal frames are good for 1 million. Odds are you won’t shoot that many rounds.

That’s coming from Battlefield Vegas numbers.
