X-reload - buyer beware

Bought a $225+ die from X-Reload and it was defective.

After a long run around they wished me luck and wouldn’t help resolve the issue as “die bushings” are not returnable (despite it not being a bushing die).

Their policy also claims they’ll take returns on defective items….which they apparently don’t.

Today I contacted the manufacturer in the US and was informed that X-Reload wasn’t an authorized dealer and must be just reselling products. I ended up sending pics and the manufacturer did agree to help me out.

X-Reload are not only very slow to respond, they misrepresent and provide ZERO customer service/dealer support.

Also a heads up, read the ultra-fine print as their “return” policy is a joke (it’s simply In-Store Credit on select items only).

YMMV, but I’ll never deal with X-Reload again

hmmmmmm...I have ordered from them in the past...bullet tips only tho. This is pause for reflection, if I'm ever looking for "other items".
Thanks for the HU !!

Dante and Londero are sponsors based in Quebec and have been first class with my purchases. Don't paint everyone with the same brush.

Defective product purchased with CC you should take it up with CC company they will refund your card

And of course don’t deal with this seller unless you want aggravation

They also have a bad reputation in Quebec. Their prices are high, I can get cheaper at all other Quebec stores. When I do pickup something at X-reload, He's never got a smile or a thank you.
I've been getting supplies from Hirsch Precision instead. Good prices, good service.

I'm one of the people that got my credit card hacked buying from X-Reload.
I agree Hirsch has good products and good service, but their shipping costs seemed high to me.

I guess I've been lucky. My orders have shipped quickly, I've had no issues whatsoever, and they seem to be one of the only places that ever has large rifle primers. I hate the shipping costs for primers and powder but that will be the same from anyone. I'd prefer to buy local but there is never any in stock.

They should be standing behind the merchandise they've sold though.

As far as credit card frauds, it could be any number of sources - not necessarily the last place you made a purchase with - at least that is what I was told when my wife's card was compromised. It's annoying but resolves quicky with no $ out of pocket.

Yes, my card was hacked as well.
And yes Hirsch has good products but shipping costs make it too high expensive
They need to get a better shipper.
